Is it wrong not to like beer??

as has been said many times already, if they don't like you because you won't drink, lose the losers.
i very seldom drink anymore, however i used to put a few away. my beer fund would easily have made my truck payments.
most people who know me, know that, and they respect my choice to no longer act like i'm 17. they also know that nagging gets them nowhere except ignored.
lost a few too many friends and relatives to that stuff for me to keep playing stupid.
BTW: the water thing does work, as dennis said alcohol dehydrates your body, drink water, juice, gatorade or whatever. also your body never gets into a deep sleep while intoxicated, not even when your passed out. that accounts for some of the affect, if your body gets a regular 8 hours sleep a night your doomed until you sober up then get a good nights sleep. finally coffee won't work because it also dehydrates your system

just for the record
Some of my best friends don't drink. Even though I feel sympathy for them, for they just don't know the pleasure of a good beer, wine or scotch, I don't really care. To each his own. If they give you crap for not drinking not only are they self conscious losers they are stupid too. You can be my designated driver anytime.
I just like the taste of various alcoholic drinks. I mean budweiser is well, ahhhh, kinda.....well lets call it a soft drink with a kick. But when you start trying some of the better beers, micro brews, Polish, German, Irish etc. you will find that you don't drink to get drunk you drink to savor the flavor. The same can be said with a $200.00 bottle of Scotch or a decent wine. Ahhhhh a cuban cigar and 30 year old Scotch, maybe a little fire going. Some good friends to share it with...........I gotta tell you life doesn't get much better than that IMHO. It is the simple things.
