If Trump runs and loses, I'll buy you a beer. But you'll have to come to Florida to get it :-)

i agree, the GOP will probably not allow him the nomination. that just might mean he gets on one of the many 3rd party tickets running and that kills the GOP.

same here, if trump wins, i'll buy you a beer and me a bottle of liquor for what's to come but you'll have to come to texas

With the age of too much information, too many people know and see what is going on. There may be an incredible backlash in both parties, if the nomination is perceived to be stolen from Trump and if the nomination of Hillary is perceived as stolen from Bernie. With the super delegates in the demo party staying with Hillary, Bernie has NO chance.

It's the most interesting election I've ever seen!

It won't be Trump that kills the Party but the Party (failure to) Leadership by denying the right of the voters to choose the candidate of their choice. Roadie is right about one thing; in this day and age of the free flow of information, that S**** is not going to fly anymore! That goes for both parties. I'm actually surprised that the Democratic voters haven't complained about having only ONE Choice, Hillery. But the fact that they haven't, just shows what lemmings most Democrats really are.

I don't think so. I think they'll keep Trump out and the Party will IMPLODE from voter anger; regardless of if Trump forms a new party or gets elected.

The Republican Party of Florida had a MAJOR scandal a few years ago and when it was disclosed how much money that the party officials had LAVISHED on themselves, the donations to them abruptly STOPPED! AFIK the ROP is longer a factor in anything. I predict the same for the national RP very soon!

And, ONCE AGAIN, the Republican Party snatches defeat from the jaws of certain victory! All hail, President Hillary!

The Republican Party leaders have got to be the dumbest politicians in existence.

wThe sad part is that if Trump doesn't get the nomination by ANY means then a lot of his supporters will consider it as being "stolen".

This whole circus is like de ja vue all over again for those of us in California, That is exactly how we ended up with "The Terminator" as governor. People couldn't get past his name recognition and see how bad he would be if elected. My opinion is, it is the same with Trump, that is why he will take New York. He is in the process of showing all of us how green he will be if elected. He did get ambushed by Chris Mattews on the abortion thing, and he didn't even see it coming. I think if he gets elected his ego will prevent him from being vigilant enough to take care of business.

The real bad part is that so many of his supporters are latched onto him so hard they will not be able to let loose and vote for anyone else in the general. Staying home GIVES the position to the Hildabeast by default.

Trump doesn't give a quack about abortion and about gotcha politics. He decided to run because of the trade deficit, the budget deficit, and the country going down the drain in general. The economy is struggling along but only because the government is spending a half trillion dollars a year more than it takes in. Without that deficit spending everything would collapse. And if something isn't done to bring the deficit in line, the country will collapse under debt that can never be paid off. Our dumbaxx politicians don't ever talk about these important issues. They had rather talk about things that don't even matter like abortion. It doesn't matter because it's settled law. A president doesn't change law. Congress does. Trump could do something about illegal immigration though by enforcing existing laws, arresting employers who hire them, by deporting them as soon as possible. Our current potus doesn't enforce the law which is a violation of his oath of office.

No offense Roadie, but that is spoken like a true Trump supporter. Of all the points I brought up, you jumped right on the abortion issue, then went off the rails. Everyone knows it is a set law now, what Trump missed is that he was being "forced" into answering a hypothetical question and have his reply used against him. He should have told Matthews that he wasn't interested in responding to "made up situations" period.

If Trump doesn't get the nomination the cling-ons will consider it as being stolen from him, no matter how it is lost and stay home to pout. Welcome President Clinton...........May GOD save us all!

Trump's answer was correct if not politically correct. If abortion is illegal which it isn't and a woman has an abortion she should receive punishment. If not it might be the only law ever that could be violated with the violator not being punished. I'm pro-choice or pro-straddling the fence. It's a terrible thing to do in my opinion for birth control but when the child's parents aren't going to take care of it, what's the worst choice? There is no best choice.

Big difference in Arnold and Donald. Arnold has never been much more than a poser. Donald is a businessman. He sees how the USA is allowing other countries to take advantage of us in trade, immigration, and military protection. We can't afford to be so generous with our friends and allies any more. They were destroyed by WWII and now they have the capability to take care of themselves or pay their fair share for our protection and treat us fairly in trade.

It will be stolen. You see it happening. Many establishment republicans are endorsing Cruz as a means to deny Trump the 1237 delegates needed to get nominated on the first ballot at the convention. When the delegates are turned loose the plan is to nominate someone else, not Cruz. Cruz's chances of getting nominated are almost zero.

Trump is a narcissist blow hard and he is probably just running for POTUS on a dare.
If he could accomplish everything or ANYTHING he said he could, I'd vote for him in a NY minute.
The GOP shot themselves in the foot yet again putting up candidates who will get slaughtered in the general election.
I'll vote Libertarian before voting Trump, Cuban Cruz, or Billary.
It really doesn't matter who gets elected because the special interest groups have owned Washington several decades ago.

Trump has been talking about the unfair trade practices that we have allowed for decades. I posted a video in this forum where he talked about it a couple decades ago. He is worrying about the budget and trade deficit, unlike any other candidate. Since he is funding his campaign mostly so far, he won't be owned as much as any other candidate. There were 17 candidates, any of them a better choice than the two democrats and the voters selected the ones that are left, well except for Kasich. And you don't understand Trump's salesmanship. The salesman always asks for the moon so you think you are getting a good deal when he gets what he really wanted. Take the border fence for example and making Mexico pay for it. If you've been listening, you would understand that he means it will be paid for by reducing the trade deficit with Mexico. He brought up NATO recently (the holy grail of defense) and how many member nations are NOT paying their agreed upon share. Have you ever heard another candidate or politician mention this before?

it's looking more and more to me that Hellery might be indicted and Bernie will be the nominee on that side. He's about 200 delegates behind now not counting the super delegates who can switch. And he is on a roll. So, it will be Bernie or whoever the repubs want to nominate. Get ready for President Bernie Sanders unless the Clinton machine has him knocked off!!

Trump may be a narcissist, but IMO he's still the best choice for President of any of the current candidates. IF he's gets nominated, I plan to vote for him. IF the RP doesn't nominate him then I will probably vote Libertarian. How about a write-in vote for Thomas Jefferson?

NOT going to vote for the RNC's Washington Insider's Choice candidate any more!
