Collector Car -- Left Turn.....!!!
So the next hurdle involves the title, which the owner sent certified mail after he received my cashier's check. Unfortunately, he mailed it to the return address that was listed on the UPS packet that I used to mail him his check, which happened to be the address of my local UPS store -- not my home address!
So now the title and the bill of sale are floating out there somewhere in the great unknown! I stopped down at the UPS store this morning just to check if it might be there, but they said they would have sent it back as "Return To Sender" rather than keep it at their location.
What's the saying -- "Things are never easy?!!!"

Can you track the title? That would at least be somewhat helpful
Yeah -- it was sent registered, so on Monday we should at least be able to find out where it is. It's not like the car is here right now, so I guess there's no hurry!
Covered is running me $1200.00 -- open carrier was running $700.00 for the same route.
Car arrived safe and sound around 7:00 last night. Unloaded it off the truck, checked for damage and drove it into the storage unit -- that was it.
Ran over today to check a few items and take a closer look at it. The one thing I noticed was that the body side moldings are not hanging on real good -- not sure if I can reattach them with new 3M tape, but that will definitely be a project that is on the horizon.
Took a closer look at the engine to see how things were looking in there. All of the belts, hoses, vacuum lines and whatnot look perfect -- don't think I'll mess with them for awhile.
It needs shocks in the worst way! I'm also noticing that some of the power actuated switches are a little finicky -- I think it's mainly because they're dirty from sitting for 30 years without being used. The more you work them, the better they seem to be!
Hoping for a day of decent weather yet this week so I can get it out on the road with no threat of rain and run it a little bit!
