With diesel fuel running about 1 1/2 times what gasoline costs, it takes some of the incentive out of buying a diesel.

 

If any of the big 3 got this engine it'd be crazy... they'd destroy everyone. Legendary Cummins in a half ton from the factory

 

I was just thinking that. That Cummins is a complete game changer. Too bad it's in a Nissan.

 

Honestly, if I'm going to pay a premium for a diesel motor it's going to be in a 3/4 or 1 ton truck just because of what people use these trucks for. If the wait ratings aren't there to use a diesel motor to it's maximum they just don't make sense when you can take one or two steps up and get twice the payload, GVWR, and GCVWR. I've looked at the Ram 1/2 ton Eco Diesel and decided that what I use my current truck for I could never make a 1/2 ton fill it's shoes.

 

Not a fan...(design-wise). Reminds me of a cheap overseas knock-off with cues from various full size trucks.
The light housings' overall shape was stolen form 2009-14 Ford F-150.

The only decent thing about the Titan is the engine.
