Thank you Dave! I actually just left that job and moved on to a national truck leasing company. I worked in transportation in college so this is right up my alley. Operations management program.
Brought her home last night and I'm really enjoying it! A lot of options in this thing. I'll get some pics up once I get a chance this weekend.
This morning not even having it 12 hours I got hit by a rock on the highway and put a huge 12"+ crack in my windshield Thank god insurance covers it!
Also realized I really like the stock 18's and will leave them be. I like the ride and look of them as I continue to see them in person. Most likely I will buy another set of them and mount snow tires on them.
More pictures of the new ride requested! Glad you're really liking it so far and hope the new job is working out OK. I was in the trucking and transportation business for years (material re-location specialist) and it can keep you on your toes! Best of luck with the car and job....
Thanks guys! I could probablynfit a Cavalier in my trunk LOL
Pat I'm waiting for them to come by. The other day it sounded like OEM but they didn't call me to confirm again since is rescheduled. That is a concern of mine as well.
Go figure...all fixed now though. Used exact OEM replacement so I'm happy.
Sounds like you came out better than one of my buddies!
A few years ago he bought a new Honda minivan -- I can't remember what they were called, but it was the one with the really long, exaggeratedly-sloped windshield. He pulled it into his garage the first night he brought it home and then remembered he had to get something out of the rafters, so he set a ladder in front of the new Honda and reached up to get a lawn chair down from storage.
Sure enough, he lost his balance going up the ladder and fell with his body weight against the windshield of the new Honda -- done! From what I remember, that one was RIDICULOUSLY expensive to replace as well.....
Yeah I made out well! Ordered OEM ford splash guards, vent shades, and locking gas plug for the capless system. All cheap through ford dealers on eBay. Found out I'm getting weathertech's from my parents for my birthday I had the other day. Here are some pics:
