Thank bud, it's crazy. It's such a tease because I see them around. The non ecoboost ones with the 201a have the spoiler and single exhaust. I really want to get exactly what I want.

I've heard that too Pat. Hopefully I can just find what I want.

I've always gotten discounts on my ordered vehicles because the dealer knew the thing wouldn't be sitting around on his lot for 5 months after he brought it into inventory. I have always ordered with an X-plan PIN (via either Ford stock ownership or a family friend who is a Ford retiree) and have never had a problem using it on a special ordered vehicle. You should also be eligible for any rebates that are current at the time the vehicle is delivered. Good luck with your new ride -- kind of jealous since I haven't had a new one since my '09 Ranger.......

Unless they changed it in the 2015's the small EB also had single exhaust. The 2.0 had duals.

Well I began thinking about the potential deals on the Ford Taurus due to slower sales. I went to a local dealer to look at a used one just to get a feel due to only 60 of them in a 100 mile radius and they sold it and didn't tell me. Clown tried to tell me about a Jaguar. I decided to go to another dealer 40 minutes away as I knew they had stock on the Taurus. Long story short I test drove an ingot silver Taurus SEL AWD and we worked a smokin deal. I ended 8k off sticker before TTL etc and thousands below invoice. I'm stoked. I'll eventually put the spoiler on, get some SHO wheels for next year and the SHO grille. Such a nice riding car and the V6 will sound nice when I whip up a nice borla exhaust for it later this summer. Thing is loaded with options and had factory remote start. True car and edmunds said the best deal was 27-28k and I was 3k below that. This is the car from their site and should be picking it up Monday or Tuesday.

Beautiful car John...in the long run you'll like the extra size of the Taurus. The Ingot Silver is just as easy to keep up as the Arizona Beige. And with that price it sounds like a win..win...win to me! Congrats....

I agree PawPaw and my dad was saying the same thing. I'm really happy with what I got and I did it myself after all my research so it feels satisfying. Thank you!

I'm debating snow tires or not for next winter. I really want the 20" sho wheels next year just hate to trash new tires that will only have a few thousand on them if I got snows. The 18's look small.

Some of the Taurus wheels were the oddball 19 inch ones. Just remember the smaller profile tire the rougher the ride. Good to do your homework before buying anything!

If it's AWD you shouldn't need snow tires. If you do get the SHO wheels and tires, keep the originals for the winter, when they are getting worn, then get some winter tires such as Blizzaks.

Nice! You are going to love it! Dont see many around here, Last time i looked our local dealer had 1 on the lot.

You should've got the SHO .. Those are some mean cars! Seen a couple of em run in the low 13's to high 12's at the drag strip with a tune and exhaust.

Congrats -- looks like a nice car! Is it new or is it used?

I'm guessing it's a leftover 2014.

Thanks guys! Its a brand new 2015... Was only going new.

I wish I could afford a sho... Maybe the next DD purchase down the road. I will probably need how it does in snow and then decide. The 3.5 really hustles for my needs. Respectable mog ratings too. Curious what I'll be able to get with my driving style.

I'd guess high teens to low 20's in town and mid to high 20's on the highway.

Yeah I'm hoping to stay in mid 20's mixed. The awd model is 18-28 I believe.
