Always something that gets me when I see someone living or working near or on the water.......that's awesome....I think I'd enjoy that very much.

So are all those structures built on stilts over the water people's homes or are they mostly businesses.....??? In looking at some of them I guess they have to take a boat just to get to their vehicle.....??? Might be neat as a vacation place, but I'm thinking that would grow to be a major PIA if you had to deal with it every day.....???

 

those are fishing stages, used by fisherpeople to do what they do with their before selling.

Sure is pretty up there -- kind of reminds me of Northern Minnesota up around Lake Superior! Are the young people from that part of the country able to find decent paying jobs and stick around if they want to, or do they end up having to move away to get on a decent career path?
