My last cat, Moocher (He would come running any time I opened a bag of chips. He loved potato chips). Unfortunately due to cancer, I had to put him down at the age of 13.

I used to say that too. However, after having dogs and cats all my life, I will only have cats now. Just as loving as a dog, but I don't have to go out in the yard and shovel 2 feet of snow so my dog can take a dump. Or go out in a monsoon or 100 degree weather.

PS - If you are a dog lover, you are in the minority as far as the number of cats to dogs.

Cats are gone the whole day, then return home to say "yo, feed me b*tch" and then proceed to leave again.

 

So true.... Also there is nothing better in life than walking out the front door of your home only to scare the scat out of a cat that is laying on the hood of your truck so that they scratch the ever loving crap out of it during the "escape".... Guess I should build a garage or move to a new home that has one to accommodate my neighbor's frikkin feline... LOL!
