Anybody into RC? Trucks, cars, planes, boats

I was into RC a long time ago and got into Nitro RC trucks and cars .... well they were fun as heck but always broke down and were fairly expensive for gas and parts.

Recently I have gotten into RC Planes (electric) and am having a ball!

I have a Hobby Zone Super Cub (arguably the most popular starter/versitle RC plane there is) its about a 4 foot wingspan. I am currently changing the old brushed and geared motor over to a brushless system and can't wait to get that in the air!

They are fairly inexpensive, compared to the 4 - 5 hundred a gas truck or car is, at only $200 bucks for a RTF (ready to fly) which includes everything you need to fly! I did however just spend $140 on the brushless motor, mount, electronic speed control, and four new larger batteries.

My father and grandfather as well as a few friends are all now flying due to us getting into it and it really is enjoyable .... next step is probably aerial photography just to see what it looks like up there

I would love to get into RC planes. Especially the big gas powered ones.

I was into it a few years ago, bought two Nitro trucks and as you said they break easily and fuel is expensive.. I haven't run mine in probably a year or so. Fun hobby though

i miss my old cars. i had a bunch growing up and the ol man was always footing the bill, it only lasted a couple years after i took over. the last one was a gas road car that would do 80 mph. i think about getting another all the time.

They're so cool! All of them. I loved the boat I had a few years ago, but someone broke the rudder when they knocked it off the counter and I never used it again after that . . . I'd love a plane, especially for $200. That's really a great price and not bad at all.

KMAC take a look at it ..... seriously anybody could fly it if they have some good reflexes and have done some rc stuff before

I was into RC but got out in the past few years. Had a few small electric cars, then moved on to nitro airplane. Need to sell mine as I haven't used it in a few years. Hobbico Air Vista with a .40 OS motor.
