High pressure fuel pump is driven off the camshaft at the top of the timing cover. Its prone to oil leaks just like anything else....

Cool, but at 310 miles and then again at 654 miles? Something prematurely failed or malfunctioned, way prematurely. Thanks for the info, Pat. Got a better understanding. - Og

No nothing should be leaking at this point. Just trying to get you going again, help you visualize what they're saying.

Man, its been awhile.

Anyways, just stopped by this ole place to remember good times. I was reading OG's post and it just triggered memory of my decision to trade my F150 for a Civic SI.
Should have never done it, but I guess mistakes will be made. Good luck OG I hope you can get this thing fixed if not make them responsible for it.
But in good news I currently have a eye out for a Blue Flame Fx4 and when they will make me the deal I will be back!
