Obituary for Michael Dunn
Michael Dunn, 37 year resident of Fremont/Newark passed away at home on October 20, 2013 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 73 years old.
Mike was born in London, England in 1940 and immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. He grew up in Piedmont where he honed his love of cars and speed, eventually racing his 60’s Corvettes throughout California, winning records at Half Moon Bay, Sacramento, Pomona, Fremont Drag Strip and beyond. His ability to develop and harness horsepower evolved into B.H.J. Products, a high performance automotive business he founded and ran with his wife for over 25 years. His interest and knowledge of everything ‘cars’ encompassed Ferrari restoration, judging for the FCA at Pebble Beach and throughout the United States and his newest passion for Ford F-150 Lightning trucks. His hobbies gave him the opportunity to meet and become friends with so many wonderful people.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years Becki, his daughters Hollie Meier, Julie Guzior (Frank Guzior), his beloved grandchildren Brennan Meier, Malorie Guzior, John Guzior and his brothers Hardy of Redding and Jon of Oakland. He had so much more to give and was taken too soon. He will be missed every day. Memorial service to be held Friday November 1, 2013 at 11 am at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd. Fremont. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to Pathways Hospice Foundation 585 N. Mary Ave. Sunnyvale, CA. 94085-2905
