F150online is still pretty active!

I haven't been on this forum (or in a ford, for that matter) in 4 years, and I'm surprised to see how active this place still is. Looks like a few things have changed, but for the most part this place looks good. Only other forum I'm really active on now is tbssowners, and thats all pissing matches and "which intake/catch can/cam/etc is best for my truck"

wish i still had a place here and was caught up, i've spent the last hour looking at all the old builds i used to drool over. found a few comments about this place going downhill. you wanna see downhill, go check out texastruckscene or some of the mustang forums. yikes.

even though i suck at ford stuff, maybe i'll stay around this time and offer some photoshop help or something. it'd be nice to have new stuff to check when I hop on a forum, aside from all the same questions asked over and over! haha

Welcome back! Yep, we're still here. I'm sure there are some that could use Photoshop help. Good to have you back.

That's funny, I used to have a TB, and I hung out on trailvoy before it went in the toilet. After I wrecked it, I bought an F-150 and came here.

I was always jealous of the TBSS owners, though. Those are some sweet SUV's.

Have you seen this? Maybe it's something you were talking about.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ge...orum-dead.html

There are still a lot of people on here, though as stated, I wasn't around for the "peak." But I love this place and hope life never gets too busy for me to spend time on here. And I don't think I can see myself in anything but my Ford or another one for the foreseeable future.

As long as what you're driving is American, you're fine by me. And I love TBSS's anyway.

I don't take the "Are we Dead?" thread negatively though! I think a lot of people jumped in and explained how the forum was anything but. I consider it to be positive, though it seems my opinion on that is a minority

I intended for that thread to be a good, positive thing too!

I was just curious who thought it was dead, and who thought it wasn't. 100% positive in my mind for both original intention and end result. I have noticed that a majority of people that love the forum, like I do, didn't take it positively for whatever reason. I'm usually pretty darn good with the connotation of word choice and phrasing, and I can't detect what the issue(s) is, but it's apparent that it's there. Maybe it's because I've been a member for such a relatively short period of time and it was out of line to pose a question of that nature?

ahh the f150 I had treated me nicely, but I wanted a tbss since they came out. couldn't afford one as a 16 year old, so that's where my f150 came in. took me 3 vehicles and 6 years but I finally got my tbss. ill be keeping this truck, wouldn't mind having a lightning or a nice 04-08 Nbs f150 4x4 one day. I do miss having a good beach and trail ride.

ill do my best to stick around here! id love to get an f150 again some time, but I'm so ls2-spoiled right now

Not many, so I didn't mean it to be taken that way. I wanted to know why people were saying the forum was dead because it seemed fine to me, but that's all I knew. It's been about 2 years since I first started poking around, and its been the same for that time period as far as I can tell. I can't help that I'm not 30+ haha. My question was answered by those that said the forum used to be much more active. Simple answer to a relatively simple question.

Do you not think it was good in some ways for people to voice frustrations with the site, its more "out there" members, why declines occurred, among other things? And for some to confront those that complained about the forum being "so dead around here lately?"
