Works for me.

All yous "there's no replacement for displacement" mugs can keep dreaming. Live in the now. This is it.

5.0 with a Whipple 2.3 would have been great.

•365 horsepower at 5,000 rpm on regular fuel
•420 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,500 rpm
•Twin independent variable camshaft timing for improved performance and fuel economy
•Up to 90 percent peak torque available from 1,700 rpm to 5,000 rpm

An electronic locking rear differential that’s standard for both two- and four-wheel-drive versions helps deliver the power to the pavement by improving traction during takeoff.

That's 378 or more lb.ft. available over a 3,300 rpm range. Nice.

I would like to see the 5.0 DOHC with twin turbos. There is so much aftermarket available due to the Mustang, it would be easy to mod.

Oh, almost forgot, I did not see a SVT moniker? Is it an SVT?

No, it is not SVT.

I think the Eco would be a better choice because it is lighter, especially for the track guys

I agree that displacement isn't necessarily the only way to go, but the 3.5 Ecoboost isn't the answer to, let's say... a supercharged V8. It just isn't. It also isn't trying to be. They aren't calling it a Lightning.

I just done like the Eco because it has less potential to become more powerful. They should offer the 5.0 as an option at the least. I would never be in the market or the Tremor, but if I was, only offering the Eco would kill it for me. I can't do a V6 purely for exhaust noise reasons. That, on top of the inability to take advantage of the (Mustang 5.0) aftermarket industry, kills it for me.

X2. Not that this truck won't scoot just like it is. And not that it's not a very nicely done good idea. But a boosted 5.0 or 6.2 would be fantastic!
