Ford tremor
if you had a comparibly equipped supercrew with 3.55 gears, I was under the impression that a eco>6.2>5.0 in acceleration?
i was also under the impression that getting a supercrew ecoboost into the 13's was not that difficult. if I heard several lightning guys talk about that when their truck were running mid 12's, they were the most fun, dailey drivers and reliable. from what i have seen, this truck should be able to accomplish the same thing.
sorry that there are 4 threads on this truck but this site is so dead, what is the harm? looks like less than 3 people posted over the weekend in this section, there was a time that the first page was all from the current day.
i remember when the buick grand national rolled out with a single turbo v-6, all the old school guys hated....until they got smoked.

I am living in the now....if the shelby mustang can have the 5.8 then there's no reason why the truck can't either.... http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/2012/0...s-at-609-rwhp/

Like said in another thread about this truck, this truck is built with existing shelf parts and keeps with existing CAFE standards. It's cost effective, is a no brainer and makes complete sense, not to mention the engine is the best current all around performer in the F150 trucks, period.
Read the specs and bow down to me.

Would love to drop one in my Lightning.
In fairness, if you bought a Lightning and kept it stock, this truck probably won't be much different performance-wise. Maybe a little suspension work if you're planning on hitting some road courses... And the sound it makes. Wouldn't be a bad daily driver.
