Nice pics, but every time I see woodpeckers, I am reminded of a video I saw once of one pecking at an aluminum ladder. Couldn't stop laughing.

Found it. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=748_1210332748

Lot's of Robins down here for the warm weather...many Cardinal's and Blue Jays too. Every so often I see an Eagle or a Red tailed hawk...of course I never have my camera available!

Part of what woodpeckers do is a "claim to territory". They bang the metal chimney on our house. I guess a loud noise means, "I'm king of the world!"
