I took my baffles out, cut them in half, and then threw them back in there. The v&h baffles are too quiet for sportsters in my opinion.

Glad you're OK and had time to bail out. Sharp bike I like it.

I just thought of my friend who had a near identical wreck story. At a stop sign...saw truck coming...bailed and his bike got totalled. You are both so lucky you were wellenough aware to move out of the way. People just don't see bikes man. And to comment on the exhaust situation, HDs and Shadows are 2 TOTALLY different-sounding bikes. Harleys are deeper and more pronounced where-as Shadows are just loud when piped. I way prefer a HD sound. My Shadow 1100 had Cobra pipes on it and they sounded super crappy. Nice find on the bike

I had one of those invisible bikes pull out in front of me today not sure what he was thinking as most riders like your self tend to be a little more aware but this dude just rolled through the stop sign. Then proceeded to drive at like 20 mph then looks in his mirror and sees my truck and just zips off.

Sorry to hear about your other bike but it looks like the replacement is a nice ride.
