Beautiful old rides in this thread. I had an AMX Javelin for a real short time. I don't remember much about it, - except it was fast. Well, it was fast IMO back then. Had a 390 in it if that tells you anything. No back seat either...Just speakers.

First car I drove (not owned) - 1966 Fairlane my dad and I semi-restored. My grandpa owned it for 30 years or so before we got it from him. Been in the family since 1968 I think. Was originally a 6 cyl/3 sp. car and my grandpa put the 289/FMX in it about 2 years before he handed it down to my dad. We put new front suspension on it as well as paint/interior, some convertible top work, and a lot of here-and-there tinkering. It's actually the original Wimbledon white but I had the idea to add pearl to it and it made it look great imo. And the front seat is a power seat out of an '89 Grand Marquis - had the upholsterer recover it to look original. My dad still owns it right now but is getting tired of it taking up garage space so he is thinking about letting me have it. Made for a great father-son project. Hopefully I will have it and be able to use it as a project for my future son or daughter.
These pics were taken back when the paint job was fresh. Could probably use a new paint job - the low-cost paint job is showing its age these days.

First car I actually purchased was a 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed convertible. Can't seem to find any pics right now.

Buddy of mine had a '61 bubbletop with a 348 with 3-2 bbl carb's, same color Maroon as my '62. Nice car's and we wish we would have kept them. I also had a Black '63 Impala and a Green '70. My first Ford was a '76 LTD with a 460, 4 bbl carb and factory duals and was a street sleeper. Hope you can find a '61 bubble to restore for your Dad!!

Time to revive the thread.

'77 Ranchero GT-351M-C4 and a '07 Yamaha VX Cruiser. Got the Ranchero when I was 14 and the waverunner at 16. Sold the Ranchero at 17 and three days later got my current truck. Still have the waverunner.

Can't tell you, I still regret it to this day.

When the right one crosses my path again, I'll pick it up.

I recall seeing that post by you and you're right, that could have been an easy flip for some quick cash.

I actually almost ended up trading the Ranchero for a '93 Lightning, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
