They were 14x10s with L60-14s (265-60-14). Car ended up as a drag car for a while, best Et 10.93, best MPH of 123.6. Sold it while I was in college, due to not having any storage. Kept the SVO Aluminum high port nascar heads, and B&A track manifold though.

My first ride was exactly like this:



Mine was a 62, that pic is a 63. Same color. Factory turbocharger.

Paw paw, my dad's first car was a 62 Impala also. He said it had the 6 cyl and was slow as hell.

I can't find any pics of my truck when it was stock, so this will have to do...

I built the 65 Galaxy for my daughter's first car while she was in high school. I built the 66 Mustang (to replace it) as her graduation present.
