My f-150 was hit by a Meteorite!!!
Lot of people are calling BS in the comments box. I hope that it does indeed come back as a meteorite. Was it hot or anything? SR-71s have to cool down for three hours before they can be handled after landing from atmospheric friction.
Last winter, right about this time of year I was driving my 150 through a local car lot doing about 5 mph. And BANG, I heard something hit the windshield. At first I thought maybe the heater had cracked the windshield because it was very cold out and the heater was on hottest. So I pull out onto the highway where there was a light post and I could see the windshield was cracked with an impact point.
So the next day I called the p/d and explained my story and asked if they had ever had trouble with kids with sling shots or guns or anything like that. They said no they hadn't but would keep a file open. That same day I combed the car lot for other broken glass or stones or ice or ANYTHING. I found nothing.
A year later I still don't know what happened to my windshield. My unofficial conclusion is something fell from the sky and hit my truck that night.
