Think you might be on to something with this keyword.. ( Silver - White who can tell.... )

Disoriented customers complained that the white can with silver polar bears looked too much like the silver Diet Coke can. Others insisted that the white cans tainted the taste of Coke, or called execs "blasphemers" for ditching the classic red.
This is a different article I found on the topic and is the 1st ref to the diet "disorientation" part of it.
The quick blurb I read only focused on the taste difference.

The 3rd reason for halting the production of the holiday can in this quote... as I posted : Coke loyalists are completely insane.

I haven't liked Coke as much (as I did when I was a kid) since they switched to New Coke back in the 80's, and then switched back to Coke Classic. It never did taste the same as before the switches.

Fountain drinks are subject to the syrup/carbonated water calibration variances between locations.

its not the same. They switched to corn syrup sweetener. Thats why Mexican coke is becoming popular. But I aint paying a dollar for no bottle of Coke.. The best Coca Cola was the recycled bottles back in the day. Hasn't been the same since the discontinued that..

6 1/2 oz Cokes in the returnable bottles were the best and they only cost a nickel!
