When you get a moment, might want to check the knot on the rope holding the winch on.
Looks a bit loose, and if you try pulling the truck out of the mud, it might come undone. Surgeons knot would hold it better. .

Today I proceeded to finish off the air vent:

I had to modify the bottom back of the box in order for it to fit behind the wheel well.

The riveted metal was to create an edge to give me a smooth curb so the fender flows with the bumper.




I added a downward curb and a drain at the end to avoid most of the water from traveling up and touching my air filter. Remember most of my muddying is only minor.

I agree with Midget - the possibility of water intake bothers me a lot. But, I may be worrying over nothing. Very nice work, Leo! You sure aren't afraid to "go where no one has gone before". I envy your creativity.
