The issue at hand isn't their now process of (hopefully) giving them a memorial and burying at sea. That article said between 03-08 they were dumping body parts of fallen Soldiers in a LANDFILL! Further more, they don't have numbers to how many heroes who gave their life for America were dumped in that landfill. I don't care if it was their thumb, if they had that Soldiers body part, no reason to remove it from the main parts to burn it and send it to a landfill. Have some damn respect! KIA Soldiers don't belong in a place that you throw you child's dirty diapers.

Do you know how many of my good friends I lost in just 04-08? Seven. Seven people who weren't just great family friends to me, but they were great Americans. All had parents, brothers, sisters, some had wives and children. Like me, they volunteered to defend the United States of America. They weren't useless people, they loved their job, they loved serving! Four were Rangers, three in the Infantry. They took pride in what they did and love defending our Nation.

Currently I've been here in Iraq since Feb of this year. When I take that plane home, there will be a few more empty seats than the plane ride to here. Those heroes also gave their life for America as well.

You saying that this is being blow out of proportion is the most disrespectful thing to say, I feel. We aren't talking about some guy who raped 50 kids, we are talking about men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their nation. The ones who laid down their life don't belong partly in a landfill, I'll tell you that much right now.
well said.

I appreciate it. ...What really annoys me is that he (Jethat) can post what he posted and never comment back on my comment; to back up his reasoning. I don't mean to bash on the guy, I don't know him personally, or where his heart is at, but come on how are people blowing that out of proportion. I still am giving the benefit of the doubt to him by going on he never saw my comment towards him.

I don't think this thread was created to have arguments in it.

Wow Jeremy, sorry but I just finally got a chance to read this. You were right, it did **** me off! I'm with you 100% brother, you know how I feel about our military. Makes ya feel good about fighting for people's freedom of speech don't it? God bless our men and women in uniform and hopefully get them all back for the holidays, especially my buddy Jeremy!

I'm willing to give Bush a pass on this.
There was no indication that he was aware of it.

Again we are talking about body parts. If a guy looses his leg or what ever he should be able to have that part saved, Cremated or whatever and he should be able to keep it if he wants. Otherwise it needs to be disposed of. Hospitals all across America incinerate there medical waste and ship it to landfills again body parts not whole bodies. Due to the oversensitivity they are burying that waste at sea and that's good. BTW my son is Navy and its not like I'm anti military by along shot. I dont think disposing the medical waste the same way everybody else is, should be a big deal. I just dont get it I guess.

I'm with you on this. Just because he's President, doesn't mean he would of known. For someone to give up a sport that he loves (golf) because of the Soldiers over here dying, shows his loyalty.

Respectfully, I think we are going to have to agree to disagree. I don't/ nor thought of you being a anti military nut-job. As you said, I just don't think you get it.

These are remains of fallen soldiers who are dead, not of a soldier who lost a limb and is still alive. If a soldier gets blown up by an IED and dies and all that is left of them is their big toe, we should still honor their sacrifice by giving them the proper resepct he/she deserves.

I just dont get it I guess
Indeed...

This is why our military is growing weak, because people get sensitive over little things. Man up, stop letting your emotions show over little things, drink water and watch your six. The way the military is going, I see us losing our next big war.

The guy isn't going to heaven without that limb anymore.

What about legs/arms/body parts being blown up and not found Iraq/Afghanistan, is that disgraceful?

105 views and one response. I guess more people care to comment about Tebow driving an F150 than what this....
I think a lot of us are just speechless about this

The last post was deleted. Guys, this is a very emotional topic for some, but we will not tolerate name calling or verbal abuse of any member. You can state your feelings and why they are valid without the name calling. If we can not do that, the thread will be closed.
