I feel like sometimes it's hard because we love to spend money on our trucks, hobbies etc, but not all of us would drop money on jewelry like we would with our trucks etc. Idk, I just don't see why some girls think that jewelry = love. My ex tried to buy me stuff for my truck and I refused. I know she wanted things like that for her, but to me that's too materialistic.

We spend money on our truck because it makes us feel good.. Buying a big ring for your girl so she can brag how much better her's is than her friends is not the reason for getting a big ring..

I don't want to sound like an a$^ but with my ex-wife I spent a crap load of money on a engagement ring and wedding ring.. Well when the marriage was over she kept everything...

If I get married again I'm not dropping a whole lot of coin on a ring that she will end up keeping and selling for cash...

Exactly, It's pointless. I'm just not into that, there's way more to a relationship than what you buy each other.

I have been married a bit over a month, I spent $250 ish on my wife's matching set, but it was on sale online for 75% off limited stock and is no longer sold from where I got it.

I have looked and looked but I can't find anything else close to it, it may be like my class ring. It was a style that jostens only offered for that year, and I was the only one (that I know of) in my class that got that style.

Just look around and I am sure you can find something nice, but asking you to live or buy outside your means is a bad idea.
