body harness is in. Shift linkage in. Old exhaust is out. Put new bushings on the rack. Changed the fuel filter. Throttle cable and all the pedals are in. Put other miscellaneous crap in and plugged in what I could.
Going to have to get the 2.25" exhaust off an mx3 at the farm and tuck it under there.

took the car out for a good hard rip up the back road and on my return trip the tach quit working. Fuuuuuuuuuck. Take the cluster out notice the one pin on the tach is not quite in place. take the cluster apart. Push it in clicks in place. Just hook up the wiring and try to start it. Tach does its little jump. Perfect its gonna work. Go to start it to make sure. Wont start.
I'm starting to not like this bp thing.
on a side note it will spin a tire now.

I think the starter took a **** on me. I can hear the starter relay click when I try to start it but it doesn't even make a click or an attempt to turn. I think it is the solenoid on the starter itself. Wouldn't be the first time I seen a bosch starter fail that way. I don't think something shorted. These cars are easy to take apart and run all the wiring.
In case you don't understand, - when those starters begin to fail internally, the spring gear can get a little sloppy and lock it up. Or there may be a bad spot on the FW. Either or, turning the crank by hand can free it up temporarily.
got it going this morning. It was the solenoid on the starter itself. It was super corroded and just fell apart when I tried to take the wire off. Stole the solenoid off a 1.9L starter put it all back together. And its ready for the track probably get the exhaust done up either wednesday or thursday.
