No NFL Chatter.....???

Unless I missed something, I haven't noticed any threads on the NFL around here -- what's up with that?

Unless football qualifies as a "Religion & Politics" topic -- I try to avoid that forum as much as possible because the threads there just tend to get my blood boiling......

Not sure what to expect of my ol' Vikings this year -- I hate to say it, but I'd almost like them to have a rough year just because we need so much help that a few choice slots in the draft would really come in handy.....

The Buffalo, Chicago and Pittsburgh games struck me as the biggest surprises yesterday.....

I'm also disappointed that nobody started a fantasy league here this year.

Hey, I'm still speechless after my Ravens HUGE win over the division rival Steelers. Every aspect of our game looked just awesome yesterday. If we keep that up, we'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

I can't believe how great Cam Newton did yesterday. I am not a fan of his, although he gets waaaayyyyy too much haterade, but he did awesome against the Cardinals.

That was a shocker -- it's not like Baltimore is a real offensive force or anything. Also, for Pittsburgh to come out and lay a complete egg like that against a division opponent after a Super Bowl appearance was really surprising!

As an aside, I can never get used to the Baltimore Ravens -- they will, and should, always be the Colts to me. It's too bad they couldn't have kept the colors and logo after Irsay left town like Cleveland did with the Browns....

Look at that -- the Bills already have 1/3 of their wins under their belt this season.....

Glad to see they finally went back to the white helmets -- those red things they wore for so many years were just plain FUGLY!

I figured Stealth would be all over this.
He must be feverishly working on 'the mother of all signatures'.

Don't get too excited there, Stealth -- I'm a NFC North guy and know all about Schizophrenic Rex.....

Agreed. However, we've been making steps in the right direction to try and become an offensive force. Yesterday was definitely a BIG step in that direction.

And yes, I couldn't agree more. - it pisses me off to no end hearing the Indy Colts organization talk and\or make any reference about their records, SuperBowl, etc from when they were the BALTIMORE COLTS. I was only 4 years old when they left town, but being born in Baltimore City and raised in the area, I'm still bitter by the history lessons . At least the Browns organization did get to keep their name, legacy and records.

All I know is the Falcons looked like a high school team against the Bears yesterday. I grew up a Bears/Payton fan so that softened the blow a little.

I grew up a Bears/Rick Caseras fan. Anyone remember him?
