517 yards for Brady. Unreal. But it was against the Dolphins

That says it all right there.

That sounds like a typical Bears game. Amazing defense, but you need to admit you need a quarterback. If Cam were the Bears QB they would be compared to the 85 Bears.

That list is somewhat skewed.
There have only been 45 Super Bowls.

Many of those listed won all there was available to win at that time in history (i.e. Super Bowl, NFL Champion, AFL Champion)

Using that critria there are only four teams that have not 'Won It All'

Atlanta Falcons (1965)
Cincinnati Bengals (1968)
Seattle Seahawks (1975)
Arizona Cardinals (1986)

You don't need to remind me -- I've been alive for 46 of them.....

Unfortunately, I think you may need to add the Vikings to that list. They were the NFL Champions in 1969, but lost to the AFL Champion Chiefs that season in the Super Bowl.......

And, the Raiders thumped the Broncos Too many penalties and too much fighting, imo.

Minnesota won the NFL Championship in 1969.

If that is excluded then Cleveland & Houston & Detroit didn't win anything either.

Except for the fact that when Cleveland and Detroit won their NFL Championships, and the Oilers won at least their first AFL Championship, there was no Super Bowl. When the Vikings won their NFL Championship the Super Bowl had already come into being. Thus, I would argue that they were not the "Champions" that year because they lost the subsequent Super Bowl to the Chiefs.

That is an acceptable premise, Minnesota should be included with the other four winless teams.

So, I concur. (I hate it when that happens)

Actually, it is titled: "Waiting for a championship" The footnotes read like this:

NFL title
  • Detroit 53
  • Philadelphia 50
  • Cleveland 43

AFL title
  • San Diego 47
  • Buffalo 45
  • Houston 44

Dates to year prior to team's arrival
  • Minnesota 50
  • Atlanta 45
  • Cincinnati 43
  • Seattle 35
  • Arizona 23
  • Carolina 16
  • Jacksonville 16
  • Tennessee 14

Each of the other teams not footnoted won at least one of the past 46 Super Bowls.
