So you play for the ravens? lol sorry i had to. For whatever reason it bugs me to no end when people say we, our, or us about sports teams. Especially when about college teams that they don't even go to.

I believe when you pay $120 for a plastic seat you are entitled to say "We..".

No fans = no revenue = no team
I offer up the World Football League and the American Basketball Association as evidence.

I have a couple of comments

1) The Packers may go undefeated this year

2) Cam Newton - Wow what a first game - He is going to be great. Great legs, great arm, and great confidence in the two minute drill.

Lots of great games and big surprises yesterday.

After the weak pre-season he had, Cam Newton's debut ranks as the surprise of the day. I'd give second place to the Ravens trashing of the stealers. Honorable mention to the Bills demolition of the Chiefs.

Oh yeah, my Bucs disappointed yesterday Beat by the freaking Lions. Although I think Detroit will be a team you don't want to overlook this season. I guess 20 straight years of #1 draft pics have finally paid off

Don't worry, it's the Lions -- they'll find a way to screw it up......

Baltimore laid out the blueprint for beating Pittsburgh. Make them stop the pass first. Pittsburgh likes to stop the run and there defense is built for that first. If a team throws the ball on Pittsburgh they'll win if they have a half decent passing game. Dont even try to run much until the game is nearly over..

Hey at least the Redskins are starting off the season right this year. As for the lions they're looking like they might actually have some potential this season haha.

The Lions will be alright as long as they can keep Stafford protected. I have heard some call him "injury prone." He wasn't injury prone when he played for UGA.

It's difficult to stay healthy when you're repeatedly picked up and thrown down by defenders.

Well let me rephrase that, they look like they're gonna do better than they normally do. But hey everyone's gotta win sometime haha.

Don't remember him.

But I do remember mom bragging on Gale Sayers when I was a kid. (He retired before I was born)

I got put in a league this year even though I never have played. They must have figured I was dead money or something. But the payouts are pretty big and there also is a "Toilet Bowl" the last week between the 2 worst teams for some money back so I shouldn't be too bad off.

Assuming either Wes Welker or the Pats kicker get me 1 point combined I'll win my match up this week. Currently tied and his games are all played.

Bought rights to Cam Newton this morning off waivers.... I couldn't believe no one else had beat me to it.

I hope the Bears put a stop to that nonsense in two weeks!!! I already have a few "pride bets" riding on that game. I want Hester to run the opening kickoff back, Urlacker to sack Rogers on the first play of the packers drive and Peppers to hit him next. If Chester Taylor gets the sack on 3rd down and they block the punt for 6 more I will be a happy camper.
