I am pretty sure its flashing 42 which I think is a left radiator primary crash sensor feed/return circuit open. Any ideas as to how I can fix it?

Front impact severity sensor is what a LFC 42 usually means.

Get it checked now before it blows up in your face while your driving down the road. True story.

BTW : The recall has nothing to do with the front impact severity sensor, it has to do with the clock spring to driver's side airbag wiring.

Well I pulled it apart & found that one of the pins was stuck in the connector ie had broken off the actual sensor. I tried to glue the pin back into place (I live in hope!!!) but sadly once I had put it all back together the light still gives the same code so I guess its off to the stealership for a new sensor.
