That is sometimes true for lower level terrorists who are only on a need-to-know basis. High value terrorists like KSM, Osama, and many, many others, enhanced interrogations can and do yield life-saving information.

Even with the "misleading" intelligence reported by the media, there are many times bits of truth discovered in interrogations and/or enhanced interrogations.
You cannot take chances with people capable of pulling off 9/11, Madrid, London, etc.

If you were the actual intelligence guys that waterboarded and questioned these documented terrorists, then I would believe you.
Until then, I won't believe any side of the argument because neither side has all the facts straight on if the information the terrorists gave was helpful or not.
I am for whatever works. If it did/does work, then I won't let the bleeding heart's emotions get in the way of protecting lives.
