If all of the stuff regarding illegal aliens in AZ isn't about class warfare, I don't know what is?

If all of the illegals were rich contributors to society, no one would turn a cheek. Since most are poor migrants they are demonized.

I believe it was Gov Brewer that called all of the Mexican illegals drug mules??

If the illegals were rich contributors to society, they would qualify for an immigration visa. Even if they were poor but possess a special skill a skill they would qualify for a non-immigrant work visa. They are not rich and they do not qualify for any visa so they are what they are. If you want the poor illegals to be able to come to this country without any restrictions call your congressman and senator and have them change the immigration laws. Until then the laws are on the books and they have been ruled Constitutional. Just so you know, there are several elements within the federal government charged with the enforcement of the immigration laws and we are told not to enforce those laws.

Did you really mean to post this ?

Now it is considered class warfare to go after criminals ?

Who's next murders ?
Guess it is class warfare to go after IL governors that are corrupt also...

The media did a spot on job with you, they have you so polarized against a political party, to the point you now support criminal activity.

And if they were from Mars and had no money, would we do the same thing ? This question is just as valid, it is not the situation we are in, so why bring it up ? I know conjecture to try to prove a point....

I personaly think that they degrade union workers. some of the words that people use to describe them just is not right. Yes there are bad unions but you cant say all unions are bad. (not saying you are)

I am not arguing the fact that an illegal alien is a criminal the moment they sneak into the country. My point is that people like Gov. Brewer took it a step further calling them all drug mules which is race/class warfare.

From the standpoint they are illegal, they absolutely should be sent right back home. No ifs ands or buts about it.

Calling them all drug mules and is making it a race/class war...most are just trying to make better for their families and get them out of a dangerous situation. That is the point I am making.

That said from the Libertarian standpoint and free market perspective, we shouldn't restrict them coming into the country. Supply/demand LOL!!

We also treat the borders much differently...going from Mexico/US is much harder than Canada/US....heck we let Habs cross here all the time!!!!

I see, now the Governor ( of a state that is on the edge of a war zone based upon drugs ) did not use a word you liked, so the criminals fell under the sympathy category of class warfare.
I am not 1 to do it, but if a criminal gets called a name, I am not going to lose sleep over it. If people do not like being called a name ( like criminal ) then become a respectful US citizen.

So breaking the law is OK, if you are justify the situation ? This was my take away, they are in danger, and the decide to get away from criminals, by becoming a criminal here.

Here I go again, I am sure to lose my Republican card for this one.

I am all for it. Issue the visas at the border, let them come in and work, pay taxes ( at a higher rate ).
You get basic rights, and non of the benefits ( public retirement and health care, etc ), which includes education ( the English language part I would have to say I am for, no more hiring bilingual teachers ).

Right now they are here working, not paying income taxes, and spending money on the economy. I am for making them pay a higher tax rate for not being a citizen and keep dong everything else. Mind you they would need to follow the minimum wage laws, no under bidding for work, they should be OK with that, doing better is why they are here.
This also gets rental unit owners paying more taxes, as they would be renting to a real person, not leaving a unit "vacant".
The companies that hire them can now put them on the real payroll, which mean insurance companies would get the revenue for workman's comp ins, which might reduce part of the treat and dash that goes on.

I actually like the idea about the worker visa. Most of the jobs they do are ones Americans don't want anyway. Who wants to go detassel corn or pick apples all day?

One thing with immigration I think we need to address is kids brought over here. Not talking about teenagers that come over illegally with their parents but ones brought over at like under 3. They have no ties to Mexico except for being born there and are Americans in every other way. Those are the ones that things like the Dream Act would help. As long as they are otherwise productive and not in trouble.

I'm a card carrying republican, and I like that idea. Unfortunately, decriminalization is not going to happen (on anything, including illegals in the country, pot, etc.) as long someone can "make a name for themselves" fighting it.
I say if they come into the country legally, there's absolutely no problem. The problem is, though, there's already a way to get here legally, they just don't want to do it. They don't want to pay taxes, they just want benefits.
