Ford Flex

Anyone on here have a Flex? The wife and I have been looking at them and I was curious to what kind of mileage they get. Any pros or cons that you have to give on it?

I get 21 mpg back and forth to work everyday. I love my Flex. Lots of room even for 6 footers.

Everyone who I know that has one absolutely loves it. Dunno about mileage.

Thanks Norm that is the kind of numbers I was hoping for. We test drove an 09 limited this past weekend and it was very nice, the wife is in love with it. I feel the price is a little steep but I guess you pay if you want all the goodies and this thing had everything.

We test drove an '11 Flex a few weeks ago. Super nice vehicle. Wish we could have gotten into it but the numbers weren't right so we'll be keeping our '08 Taurus X, which is the model prior to the Flex.

We have a 2010 Limited with the Ecoboost... Mileage for my wife driving is normally around 20 mpg... me driving is an entirely different story (the EB is crazy in this thing).

Pros: We love the look... love the motor.... love the space... love the features
Cons: They're not selling all that great (next car for Ford to chop?)... PRICEY....wish they'd gone with two SISO rather than one DIDO (on the EB)...other than that though, I really can't say much negative about it -- I truly LOVE that car (like, to the point that I've kicked around getting my wife something else so that I can have hers as it's, more or less, just four wheels and a motor to her).

Ya, that is a nice one RP, but a bit pricey like you say. I was looking at getting one some day but it'll be used. I'm 6'6" and fit no problem too people, LOTS of room.

They are nice but pricey. My friend bought one for his wife, she loves it. She went from an Expedition Limited to the Flex, said mileage is great considering his is AWD (Not exactly sure what the MPG is). I had one for a loaner car for a few days, I enjoyed it. Was extremely comfortable, had a lot of room but I didn't pay any attention to gas mileage.

I looked at them at my local dealer. Couldn't believe how expensive they are. They look real sweet with a nice set of rims on them though.

Wanted a Flex from the first time I saw one. Still like the look and do a double take when I see them.

Would love to get one for the wife to drive the kids around in, but they are just way too pricey for us right now.

I bought mine used with 24K miles on it. It was easier to afford that way.

Hands down one of the ugliest cars Ford has put out lately. Just not a fan of it in any way shape or form. Sorry Ford Thumbs down.
