Buddy chewed in highschool who I played baseball with. He lost part of his tongue to cancer a few years after he started.
Guys at work chew...hard habbit to break.
One of my co-workers has chewed for 10+ years...they cut his left ******** out last year for possible Cancer. He quite for about 3 weeks then started again. He's trying to fight the good fight every week and is slowly cutting back.

this aint that close to yalls storys but...im 18...i drink heavily on the weekends with freinds...i walk home fyi...when i got an internship at a welding shop i met the nices guy. one of the dinosaurs of welding...i mean this MF can weld ANYTHING.hes got a year 2 live or less...Cirrhosis...i aint had a drop of alcohol since

WOW! I didn't know how far this thread was going to go. It does look like there are a few trying to quit. I went to my doctor and I know this is going to sound like a sells pitch but....
She put me on chantix thinking that it helps smokers so it might help me. So far doing OK even though the ball and chain says I'm cranky all the time.
