Im looking at building up a 3v 4.6 liter f150 for personal and making 12s in the 1/4. I have been doing some reading and reading some more trying to find a list of 4.6 regular cab times. Also i heard these trucks can get awesome gas mileage as well as sound good and perform well.

I am coming from the mopar world as it does not offer tuning or transmissions that are worth a damn. I did get 12s in a cam only(boltsons) 05 reg cab tho.

anyways, welcome to the site! i cant help you much on the 2009 trucks seeing as im stuck in the past with my 2003

 

Are you saying that you ran 12s in that dodge with nothing but a cam and bolt ons?

 

yep hard to believe but there was weight reduction as well

If you're coming from a Ram, just be warned that these trucks will feel like a slug in comparison. Dodge trucks are FAST, Ford trucks are TRUCKS......

 

I doubt you'll go 12's with a 4.6 and bolt ons...shoulda bought a Lightning if you want to go fast
