The 2nd black president???
I know, I know, the presidential elections are a long way off for most of us. A lot of us are eager for a "change". It looks like Obama is going to be running unopposed. So, there is a lot of speculation who is going to run for the republican ticket.
There are a bunch of household names out there. I don't know about you, but I'd kind of like to see what some lesser known people have to offer.
One possibility is this guy, Herman Cain:

Here more of what he's had to say:

The fact that he is black really has no significance at all, unless you are a progressive trying to stunt the Tea Party movement. I think if he were to run in the primary, and prehaps even get the nominee, those who buy into the false accusations lobbed by the progressives would be surprized.
I don't know much about him. I don't know if he's got too many skeletons in his closet or what. I do know that I'd like to see some lesser know Americans running for office.
What do you think?

I think it will be a long time before you see another black President. People got more change than they wanted with the current inept idiot. I doubt a woman of any color for a while too. And that's a shame too as there are a lot of good candidates that are considering running but the stigma of a black and a minority are going to be an issue for quite a few years.

Yeah, well.....
I guess, being he's a liberal. If he were a conservative, you'd have him in the guillotine for saying things like:
YouTube-Ron Reagan Jr: Bring a Gun to Fight for Social Justice
Yeah, see when your a conservative, saying anything even remotely close to "if your in a knife fight you bring a knife, or bring a gun..." will cause the main stream media to use all of it's hefty influence to savagely castigate you.

why don't we use this to get out of the bipartisan system? why not look towards other parties and see what they have to offer?
i hate hearing people say they're sick of the current president so they're going to vote the other party in if this guy runs again. there are other people besides the republican and democratic ticket.
it happens every time the other party is elected. no one likes what's going on so why don't we try something different?

He was just elected to Congress in this last election, so he wouldn't be up for Pres just yet, but in the videos and articles I've been viewing, I'm extremely impressed with FL Rep Allan West. He's a retired Army Lt Col. I hope he does well in his new office and would support him if he chose to run for a higher office.
