Isn't it touching how everyone rushes to tear someone apart? It's like one big, happy family.

It is a nice truck. It's cool when we get to see some of the rarer ones.

Stop talking about it. Just stop putting tools where they could damage something at some point.

This is one of those strange ones for me because I lay tools in my seat all the time, however if I catch someone else doing it I would be pissed. Not trying to be disrespectful to you at all, but it is a much better practice to not set anything even remotely like a tool in someone's seat.

I remember this rare package, a dealer near me had the same black outlaw truck. The truck is a 2007, they also had a rare package called the Lariat Highline the same year. The Highline had alot of chrome on it. I'd give anything to have this truck they're sweet.

Couldn't give less of a damn over something as petty as a screw driver on my seat. But my seats aren't leather it does make the business look less professional though

Yeah, Kobiashi, I noticed that, too. And thought the same thing about the carelessness.

OP should have seen this coming. What kind of SICK inhumane person would leave a drill on a seat. I gagged as soon as I picture of the seat.

I have to say I would be more worried about the next guy leaning on them, and doing the damage more than the person that put them in that spot.

I catch myself doing this in my off the shelf 06, and think Oh crap, better move that.

My reason, I can be both the guy that put them in that spot, and the moron that leans on them and does the damage.

Aside from the damage part, at least placing a liner on the seat does look more professional.
Family friends have a body shop, and they do not lay tools in the car ( they mostly work on high end euro cars ).
The guy that started the place ( still help his son around the shop ) says it is a seat, not a work bench, tools belong on the work bench, your butt belongs on a seat.
He is from Europe, and that is the mentality. They still do holiday shut down to completely clean the shop and paint the walls.
Then again, he never understood cup holders in a car ( US thing ), you are driving, if you want a cup of coffee stop and have coffee, this is not a dash board diner.

Sometimes i dont understand this forum, the op wanted to talk about a NICE truck he worked on and all of a sudden the thread turns into a bunch of **** starters that want to pick a fight over something stupid as tools on a seat....
I am just as OCD about my truck as the next guy but if he was working on my truck and didnt do damage then oh well.. If he did damage then i would expect it to be Fixed right...

Because thats what this forum has always been like and will always be like in the future. Everyone thinks they know everything. Why do you think I left this place for a while? I've been back on a regular basis for about 2 weeks now and i'm ready to leave again.

If the OP wants to lay a running chainsaw on the seat, good for him. But who is anyone here to tell him how to do his job?

Damn, I need coffee. It's to early for this!
