"Birther" refuses to deploy.
Would you be ok with everyone in the country knowing everything about you?!
People like you have a problem with him wanting privacy for one reason... HE'S THE FIRST BLACK (*GASP*) PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
What other president in history has had demands made to prove his citizenship? Name one. Can't? Why?! CAUSE THE WERE ALL WHITE AND NO ONE QUESTIONED IT.

You also forget that Obama's mother was under the age of 21 when he was born (1961) his father is Kenyan. The 26th amendment was not passed until 1971. Before that point a person was not a full citizen and therefore not able to pass on citizenship until their 21st birthday. The location of his birth is his only link to citizenship. Skin color be damned.
Because its none of their business and its your right to privacy. If you were doing nothing wrong and get pulled over by a cop and asks to search your vehicle for drugs, would you let him? I wouldn't. Sure I've got nothing to hide but its none of his goddamn business and if he REALLY believes I've got something, lets get a warrant and a K-9 unit down here.
One thing I don't like about many blogs and articles nowadays is how they give the reader some facts (which often times can be shady or false) but ask more questions instead of giving an educated evaluation. What many of them do is they leave the reader to draw their own conclusion based on the presented information. Not everyone evaluates facts the same so almost an infinite number of conclusions can be drawn. How many of those will be reasonably right or wrong? Then a glitch that always irritates me is when articles like these do not list any sources besides google and that person. If I wrote a major paper with facts and did not cite any source besides myself, it would be a joke and not have the chance of a snowball in texas.
I'll quote Tishrei on the article posted, http://www.israelnationalnews.com/bl...sage.aspx/3074
Does this person realize how much random crap you get from a basic google search? I was looking for parts for an old Honda XR100R dirt bike on google and got pictures of nearly nude women. I'm not complaining but how are the two related?
For another example, one of the articles talked about the grandmother being in the delivery room. Well what if the delivery room was in a house rather than a hospital? Not everyone is born in a hospital. In that case the documentation would be a bit different but the story still valid. How about if he was born on america owned property in another country? We have tons of real estate in other countries.
I'm not sticking up for him or against him, because whether he is supposed to be president or not by birth, WE as a nation elected him to office.
I know this post was pretty much pointless either for or against the argument but I dont see this thread making any ground breaking discoveries on its own anyways, but there have been some interesting topics brought up.

Barack Obama was born at the Queen's Medical Center on 4 August 1961.
So which hospital was it, or was he really born in Kenya? And why is this simple matter so confusing and disturbing? Do the search your self and plug in these key words:
Obama born Queen's Medical Center and then Obama born Kapiolani Medical Center in a Google search. You will see he is reported to be born in two diferent hospitals. A miracle! Maybe he IS the Messiah (grin).

You mentioned the grandmother bein' present at the birth. You could possibly be right about him bein' born in a house. You forgot the main part of what she said, though. She said she was present at Obama's birth in Kenya.
I will agree that nothin' new will likely come from this thread. It's just an ongoin' debate.
I bellieve that you have all missed the point of this thread. The "birther" has accomplished exactly what he set out to do. Put everyones thoughts on Obamas birth place and took them off of this cowards refusal to deploy to a hostile area.
In his mind he has justified his non-right of refusal by lashing out at someone else. If he is so damned set against Obamas right to be Commander in Chief, why did he wait until he received orders to deploy before bringing it up. If he was so intent on his beliefs he could have refused to serve stateside.
GUTLESS COWARD....

No...no background check to play T-ball. I simply remember my mother having to have my birth certificate when she registered me to play T ball. Pretty sad when our President couldnt even qualify for this...
Democrats 2000-2008: "NOT MY PRESIDENT!"
Republicans 2008-present: "NOT MY PRESIDENT!"
What's the difference? Obama is FAR more likely than not a US born citizen. And if he isn't, he has instituted the same policies Hilary Clinton or John McCain would've, sooo...? They're all just bought corporate drones.

the policies were very different bro.
I don't see this has being heroic or even smart. For one, if you're in the military you swear to obey the orders of the President of the United States and the officers appointed over you. Just because you feel the president doesn't deserve to be CINC for ANY reason doesn't give you an excuse to dodge a deployment. If you want to be brave and do something heroic go serve your country like you signed up to. This war was started long before Obama took office.
As a combat vet i'm more than perturbed that an officer with as much experience as this guy has the gall to pull a stunt like this. Sounds like an attention *****.
Personally, I think it's stupid for the guy to let this embarrassment of a president ruin his career. He should've just sucked it up and did his duty. Now, this president he doesn't like at all is gonna be the reason his career was ruined. In the end, this guy will likely get nowhere, and Obama will still be Commander in Chief. So he threw away his career for nothin'. Not a smart move on his part.

I agree with this.
You're right about findin' all kinds of stuff when doin' a Google search. And we can use your dirt bike as an example to go a little further. You searched for parts. You were able to see which websites weren't relevant at all (the ones with nearly nude women) and get to the ones that were relevant to your search (the ones with parts for your dirt bike). So you were able to accurately use Google as a search tool to find the information you wanted. If you search Google for Obama's birthplace, you will also find all sorts of stuff. You just have to sort through it until you find the stuff relevant to the search. Seein' stuff about his trip to Kenya isn't relevant to him bein' born there. So that can be thrown out. Seein' stuff about his golf outtings....not important, so throw it out. Him bein' born in Kenya. Well, take a look and see what it says. If it's just a bunch of opinion, then it can be thrown out. If it backs up the claim with some facts, well, it might be worth lookin' into more. Anything related to his birth should be looked at and maybe even looked into more. You just have to be smart enough to sift through the information.

There is a difference between my bike and his birth certificate. In the pile of stuff that google gave me I knew what I needed, 100%, for certain. I knew that I could throw out anything that did not have a specific part number, the hot girls didn't have part numbers (besides 8-10s
). Parts for other bikes also showed up but I could verify that they were similar but not the same. In the case of the birth certificate, you dont know 100% for sure what the end result is. You could disregard the truth for something false without even knowing it.If he was born in another country then his current position in our government is the least of our worries.

He had the option of resigning or just asking not to be deployed, he wants to stay in the Army and has even agreed to multiple tours if he can stay in. There has to be more to the story, this man chose this way of going about this on purpose.

You know what's frightening about linking to images at "tinypicdotcom"? they change and what you put up once is something completely different if that pic ever gets taken down because they re-use addresses. Not cool, especially since what I originally posted was replaced by something totally inappropriate for a public site.
I dread what other "tinypicdotcom" links I have posted over the years have changed into.
Dang.
