Seems a few have a problem with this quote.

It is possible to be Jewish and Christian. I was not talking about beliefs here (Jewish). One who is Jewish is not necessarily Jewish in their beliefs. Prime example: Me. Some of my ancestors are Jewish, yet I am Christian in my beliefs. Hope this helps.

You haters are cherry picking again, you know who you are.

McVeigh was a Catholic. Born and raised a Catholic according to his sister. It is surmised that he tried to protect his living family members by making different claims about his beliefs, both religious and political after his difficulties. He distanced himself from family in all ways possible once he committed to his heinous deeds. Let the man rest, his sister is a lovely, caring person both in deeds and profession.

It has yet to be proven, however, it is likely that the crime was perpetrated by a person that was against the mosque's construction. Maybe Christian is too broad a term. I'll use the term American. It is very probable that the arson was committed simply because the building was to be a mosque. Further, terrorism does not require a homicide be committed.

Do you really fear for your life from terrorism? If so, you might want to come back and visit reality some time.

9/11 resulted in approx 3,000 deaths, right? Aren't there like 30k+ deaths per YEAR from automobiles?

If 9/11 scares you into this state of hatred of brown people, driving a car should paralyze you.

Who says your definition of "Christian" is the right definition?

The religions are different, if that's what you mean. Otherwise, care to elaborate?

al qaeda is pretty much condemned by the muslim world, just as abortion clinic bombers are condemned by the christian world. Further, is it not plausible that there are some groups in the middle east that are fed up with US tyranny in that part of the world?

It isn't "highlighting" "research." The survey results you link to do NOT suggest that muslims hate the USA and love suicide, it suggests that people believe in self defense.

What, no response to my comment?
There's no response to your other comments because they are ridiculous in nature.

Let's put it this way, Mcveigh made the, "Science is my religion" comments when he was on death row only days before he was executed. What one claims as their religion-in his case "science"-on death row when they are only days away from breathing their last, is much more reliable than when he attended catholic church as a child.

And now I see you have retracted your original statement of accusing "Christians" of torching the Mosque in Tennessee. Thank you.

Sorry, but I actually took the time to read all of your comments.

You're comparing accidental car deaths to terrorism deaths? Really? Good Lord look at your line of thinking, man.

So whatever his sister says is true, but the mans own words out of his own mouth are not? Got it.....

There is a guy at my work thinks his sister is a gold digger, must be true then, right?

Let the man rest? Really Serotta? Are you now going to get all high-and-mighty on us?

Mcveigh only attended a Catholic church out of obedience to his parents. I know this fact really irks the humanists/secularists. If he ever truly believed in Christ he would've turned away from his deed in 1995.

I do hope he repented of his sins and truly confessed Christ before he died.

Harley,

I can only tell you what his sister related to us about his childhood and the way he worshiped during his late teens and early 20's. You may choose whatever part of my statements you feel comfortable with. Even you must believe McVeigh to be a man not to be trusted, yet you put profound belief in his words once he was committed to his distasteful task.

I'm finished,

Oh, that guy at work... can you send me his sister's number.... I'm ancient and I've got a bit of money sacked away!

Look no matter how you cut it, we aren't afraid of someone like McVeigh because he looks like us. You couldn't walk down the street and see that he was a potential terrorist.

Someone in Muslim garb stands out and it is easier to find a difference with them.

Just like if the POTUS was named John Smith instead of Barack Obummer it would be more ridiculous to say he was born somewhere else. I assume the Secret Service has done their due diligence and vetted him thus making him eligible for office until someone can prove otherwise beyond a shadow of a doubt.

The people of the Westboro Church are idiots but in a free society everyone has the right to say what they want and soldiers have died time and time again to give them that freedom.

The hardest part of defending free speech is to defend the rights of someone whose message makes your blood boil.

I don't agree with what they have to say and I wish they would shut up but I still support their basic right to spew their venom regardless of the fact that I hate their message.

Yup. It was likely an ignorant American (which means possibly, but not necessarily likely Christian).

It is more likely that you will be killed in a car crash than in a terror attack. You should be more afraid of car crashes.
