There are thousands of people who come to this site and only a handful that ask questions without searching. If you type "site:f150online.com <what you're looking for>" into google you'll get even better results than the site's search provides sometimes.

I can't believe you're bitching because you didn't take 5 minutes to research before asking a dumb / repetitive question... respect has to be earned, and if you keep asking questions without researching first, there won't be much respect.
That is cool, didn't know you could do that. He probably has been searching not-so-old threads by title and when he opened them it said "use the search option." I know that has happened to me a bunch of times and that does get irritating.

Yeah buddy - during those times when native Search is kaputnick on here, that's a great alternative

I've never had much luck with the search function here. I'll try this little tip in a little while on finding repair info for my Honda XR100. It is a few years from antiquity (meaning it is a real POS ) so it's hard finding relevant info without becoming a member of a dozen forums.

Glad to see there were a few positive posts. No where in my post did I say I dont use the search button or did I say I like it when people come into a forum and ask the same questions. Yes I 100% agree, use the dam search functions. Thats what they are there for. That is how I found your site. BUT..... if someone asks the same question for the 100th time, how bout you just move on instead of being an a$$ and saying "try the search button". No one has told me to use the search cause I do use it before asking questions. I also said there is plenty of good knowledge here. Its just the people and replies I'm talking about. I have been on other f150 forums and I haven't seen half the same replies you guys have one here. Thats all I'm saying....

10-4.

We do so strive to differentiate ourselves from the other sites

BTW - yer 'just move on' approach typically engenders a - "Hey! This site Sux! Why Y'all ignant Bastiges is just ignorin' me ...!!!" - response.

Can't be having that!

There is, of course, always TruckMommaCentral , where there are allegedly 3 Mods per member, and they all have apron strings. http://www.truckmodcentral.com/forums/
