I've been playing it for a few days (got it on release day). I for the most part like it, but it does seem to take a while loading and the damage isn't very noticable. I ran head on into a wall running 160 and didn't even get a scratch. Maybe it will get better.

 

Waited and waited for the opportunity to get a lightning. I got it, and all it does is encompass my disappointment in the game. The graphics are just awful. Barely good enough to be called PS2 graphics. This game is shelved for me. Level 14 is it. The standard models' awfulness is just too distracting. It's clearly an unfinished game.

That said, I don't want to pick up Forza again either. I like how the cars actually drive in GT5, and I like the loose surface driving in GT5 a LOT. Dirt3 is now my new shining star in development.

This game is the equivalent of having your son strike out at the plate and lose the game.

 

Yea but when i saw it, It was when i first started the game and only had 20 g's. Im on level 14 now and a lightning finally came in and i grabbed it. Another week and should have the game beat.

 

Forza 4 is going to make GT5 look like tetris...
