Around The House, Front Entry To Be Exact.

I few months back the front of my house looked like this VVV

When my wife left one day to go shopping I took my tools out and gutted the front of the house. When she came back in the evening she was terrified about the missing part of the house. I told her that an earthquake did it so I had to fix it, she said OK and that was the end of it.

I removed the double entry door and added a new 3' door with side lights and arched the top of the door.

I also fabricated my own granite to frame the outside of my exterior front entrance door.

That is one heck of an improvement. I love to see craftmanship like that!

Very well done.

And kudos for the earthquake story.

Both are very good. I have always admired the pictures of the craftsmanship of your house

Great job OG! How long did it take you to do all the granite work?
I wish I could use an earthquake story like that where I live but that won't ever happen.

Few hours here and there through a week I'd say about 3 days.
