Am I the only guy who pays someone to do their snow?
Don't I feel embarrased now, lol

My driveway is 260 feet long and I've considered every option for removing the snow including putting a plow on my truck, but I gotta tell you, I pay a guy $350 for the entire season and I don't have to worry about jack.

He does an excellent job and is always reliable, what more can a guy ask for? For that little money I pay him, I can stay sleeping in my kozy warm bed while he's out there taking care of business.

This is about half of the driveway from the top looking down to the road.
Artie can gladly look after it for me and I'll pay him and be happy about it.

just put the lawn mowers away and got out the snowblower. pluged it in and it fired right up even on gas from last year no Stabil lol. oiled everything so it will throw snow pretty good. let it run for 10-15 mins still need to clean the carb it will not run without the choke on.

checked the oil only a 1/4 QT low and my mom said in 23 years it has never been changed.

I swore to myself after shoveling all that MD blizzard snow last year I would get me a snow blower. I still haven't purchased one. Just can't bring myself to buy and store one for the few times a year we get snow, so I'll stick with the shovel, it's good exercise. Plus, I'm in good with one of my neighbors who just bought one, he loves to have an excuse to use it, so I should be good.

Last years driveway shoveling - that's me down at the end. I'm only 5'10", but man, I had to shovel that snow almost as high as me in some places.

Yeah, I used to say that too. For the few time... I will say mine is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Even if I don't use it for a year. You don't have to get a super large one, just a single stage. That is what I have and it handled last year, even though it really had to work at it.

I've got a 10hp 26" Yard Machines that I got at Sam's Club in 2000, I really wish I had spent the extra $200-300 at the time for an Ariens or Simplicity, but as I much as I dislike the one I have it starts 1st pull and clears my 2600 sq-ft driveway and a path around the house for the dogs without a problem. When it snows overnight I'm usually out there at 5:15am clearing the driveway, it doesn't bother the neighbors as most of them are out at the time as well.

See the post above yours.

I may put one of these on my truck next year and do some driveways for cash.
