Need some computer help, external hard drive issues

Yea, both Vista and W7 have the same partition and format capabilities. Vista is just much faster. Actually XP and Vista are neck and neck. W7 lags a little bit. Anyway, Disk Manage should show like this with the one touch drive thru the cheap adapter kit lol -

This better work or I quit lol.

I was going to pull the XP drive and connect it to this one to show you how it works, but, - to lazy at this point. You'll be able to explore and expand the drive. Documents should then be available for transfer.

After you get what you want, I would still fix that XP drive. If you have the operating system CD, once you strip what you need from the hard drive, rebuild the system.
