Good season Rangers, was pulling for them in the world series.

Can't say the same though when they were playing the Yankees. Think I may be the only or one of few Texans in this thread who likes the Yankees.

Congrats to the Giants. They shut down the Rangers offense, plain and simple.

I would like to congratulate Aaron Rowand, Juan Uribe, and the rest of the Giants on a well earned World Series title. Wish Rowand and Uribe were still south siders, but whatcha gonna do.

Nobody gave us a chance. Here's a big to all the TV networks and sports analysts that said the giants had no shot. After 18 straight games of 3 runs or less and a ~1.5 ERA in September, you had to see pitching like this coming in the playoffs...

And a well deserved MVP to Edgar, hell of an ending to his career if he so wishes.

Congrats to my Boys.

Congrats Giants on the Series! Holding it down for the rest of the NL!

In other news, Cliff Lee is a mere mortal after all. Wonder if the Yanks want him now?

Good for SF on winning the WS. I'm just glad they did it w/o Bonds. Their pitching staff did an outstanding job of shutting down the Rangers.

Are you kidding? Any big name pitcher that's a free agent will be sought after by the yankers. Or any big name free agent for that matter.

Warms my heart to know the yankers didn't buy the WS during the year of Steinbrenner but I'm sure his kids will try their hardest to buy one next year for the old man - what a douche.

Ask any yankers fan, money can buy happiness!
