Cool, when you do you should fly it over here to ADS or over to CPT (on weekends) I show you my truck if you show me your plane.

I sold it several years ago. Only rent now. I made a killing on my 150 and didn't put anything in it but oil, 100LL, and 1 annual. I made a little more than 10K when I sold it from what I paid for it.

I drive through Cleburne every now and then when I'm heading to Rio Vista for some skiing. That's a long commute if you're going back and forth to Addison...

Is that the model with the Cont. O-200? I sat in a C152 once, and with me being 6'2 @ 165 lbs, I could not comfortably fly that thing. My Piper is a little bigger, I actually have the seat moved up some and it cruises faster. I ultimately want a Mooney. My grandpa had a '67 M20F Executive (turbo) but it crashed in '03

This is my bird:

1964 PA-28-140. Lycoming O-320-E2A, 150 hp.

Grandpas Mooney:

^^ Circa 1995

^^ Stripped paint, circa 2001

Not a pilot but I tell you guys what to do!
I am a controller at Cleveland Center. I work airspace over western NY and a little bit into Canada. Our biggest thing is sequencing for Toronto and Detroit. A little bit for the east cost and New England as well. Job is an absolute blast!

Hey Stompy! Thanks for keeping us safe up there. You guys (and gals) never get the recognition you deserve. Thanks for doing a great, and often thankless job.

x2.

I'm interested in possibly majoring in Air Traffic Control once I get my A.A. degree but I'm not sure if I will qualify with my bad vision in my right eye

Miles,

Do you fly out of DFW? I have a friend who used to fly at Summit before they went under.

I did my PPL, Instrument, CPL, and most of my CFI in 22's, then did my 300CBI transition and finished CFI in that. I do pipeline Patrol up here in Louisville, KY and the surrounding areas in 22's and 44's. I went to Vortex Helicopters down in New Iberia, LA and was there when Bristow took over. I transferred to Chandler, AZ and did CFI out at Quantum Helicopters. I then got lucky enough to land a job in KY.

Do you plan on getting your Instrument rating? If you don't already have a job, its not a bad rating to get.

I have an apartment in Addison, not having to put gas in my truck every other day pays the rent.

I haven't flown in a year, my job and (previous) commute put a stop to anything like free time. I used to fly with Epic out at Meacham, I'm looking into Sky over at the Garland Heliport. I do have 14 hours under the hood and would like to get my inst but CFI is first.

I am going to be a pilot =D I go to ERAU in Daytona Beach. Working on my private still because I took a semester off from flying. But I should have it here by Feb. or March. Then on to my intstrument rating. And finally my multi engine add on... Hoping to fly for Southwest(Airtran) one day. Looking to fly corporate out of college though. At least for a few years until I get a family...This will all of course come after about 4 or 5 year of CFI after graduation... Gotta build those hours =D

Graduated from Riddle in '05. Started out flying but changed to ATC early in my college career and boy am I glad I did. Flying just isn't the job it used to be. I got a lot of buddies flying rj's and embraer's and they just aren't moving up. They've all been FO's for going on 5 years. A lot of people I work with at Cleveland Center got all their ratings and instructed or flew commercial for a while and ended up going ATC. Hopefully the job turns around but right now i'll just say I'm very happy with the way I ended up going.

Not a pilot but I fix the C-5's, C-17's, and KC-10's out here in California and wherever the air force wants to send me. I love the job too.
