just wanted to see who on here is in the emergency medical field, if so please say what level of training you are and if you have an EMS related job say where

im currently going to school, im in the process of getting my EMT-B and i will be starting my paramedic in the fall

was an EMT B but got injured so never was able to go to medic school.

 

Our dispatcher sucked. They were paid to dispatch PD and they treated all Fire calls as second priority over silly traffic stops. BS.

 

we have separate dispatch for that here, but it should go life>traffic stops and other crap, just incase they didnt know

 

back where i was from it was a small enough town they only needed two dispatchers. but the drama there was "they get paid to dispatch PD, anything else is extra work for them" gah im glad i got out of there

 

thats retarded, dont give them the title of pd dispatch they are emergency dispatch

 

Was a career paramedic in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, as well as a flight paramedic for a short stint.

Moved to Virginia 3 years ago and am a Career Firefighter/Paramedic.
