Interesting bug remover

A budy of mine showed me how to get bugs off of your vehicle easily today. Mix a 1-4 ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water, spray on the bugs and let set about 15-30 sec and they wipe off. I did it today on my Valkyrie and it works very well. Thought I would pass along a tip.

Peroxide is an oxidizer. It's a "bleach". I'm not sure how bleach reacts with paint and I sure doubt it's good on plastic. I think I'll stick with Simple Green and a "bug scrubber".

Sounds kind of scary. Normally bugs arent too bad of a problem for me, they normally jsut come off with only car shampoo.

A moistened dryer sheet works wonders and it doesn't harm the paint or plastic. I've been using them for years.

Isn't that the stuff you put in your gas tank and then drive around town. After the bugs choke on the smoke from that... it's Bugs Be Gone!
Works every time...

I just spray some Windex on them and let it soak in for a few seconds. I might have to try the wet dryer sheet.

People use that to bleach their hair. WW11 torpedoes used it as fuel. A 'hot' run on a HP fueled torpedo sunk the Kursk.

Bugs are a problem for me when I fly in the summer- I just wipe the leading edge of the wing with some petroleum jelly in a thin layer and when I land a quick wipe and they come right off
