Yipes! Hope your truck was inside. "Ford tough" is not going to stand up to anything like that.

Yeah... ok... that 1/4 of an inch is really going to make a difference here... That's some huge hail!!

I wouldn't want to anywhere near a window or outside.

That's some good size hail.

Back in late summer of 2006 we had a bad *** storm come through and drop softball size hail just about 1 mile from my house.

man that is some rough stuff!

BUT not the biggest I have encountered. About 4-5 years ago we had grape fruits, softballs, the occasional bigger than a grape fruit but not as big as a volleyball and what they called "massive chunks" of ice that destroyed every roof, window, car, metal shed, etc in sight. Left huge dents in the ground and asphalt even broke bricks on some buildings, split trees to pieces... you name it that crap destroyed it

I hate hail!

It is shaped like a ping pong ball, and it weighs nearly the same too. They are mysteriously made too... using only the finest weather ingredients possible.

give or take! came right through the roof of our house and everyone elses, straight in to the living areas destroying the ceiling drywall and some furniture and other stuff with water damage from rain.

Nearly every car dealer in the Northwest/West/Southwest/south side of town totaled their whole lots! No dimple darlings in sight, just destroyed vehicles with no glass and beat to hell sheet metal.

HERE is one article I was able to find relatively quickly from the newspaper. The NWS has a good write up about the various sizes, detailed damages, etc... I just can't find it right now.

You guys in OK got the severe weather we got the damn wind... We had a gust of 90 mph today and sustained winds of 40-60 mph! Looked about like we lived in Dubai with all the blowing dust.
