OP was hit from behind so the brush guard had 0 effect.

What did I miss? Are you talking about the video of the crash test of the '97-'03 F-150? Did they put the doors on after you watched the video? Every time I've seen that video the truck has doors on it.

Anyway, I hope at least ONE of you experts took the time to check and see if YOUR seatbelts still work and that YOU won't have to taste dash. The crash tests that I saw would not have went well with NO SEATBELTS. Only takes a minute. I am pretty sure that my truck is not the only one in the country to have this problem, however I am no expert, but I do have alot of common sense.
