Put a new exhaust on my truck and my budy's z71, is it worth taking the stock ones (Muffler with the tailpipes, both with like 2k miles on them) to a scrap yard?
Prob not but i thought i would ask before i chuck them out

I would keep it and store it in case you need to put it back on one day. I have had two vehicles inspected for registration recently and the inspection includes a visual inspection for the exhaust system which is a new thing here.

Unless you seriously don't have a place to put them.
Even if you know a friend or family member or something that has a good sized basement or storage... just give it to them to store for you.
