I like a good snow as much as the next guy, but this is getting to be a bit much. Looks like they shutdown DC...stopped clearing the snow all together. I got most of the snow off the driveway and walkway, but can only stand an hour or so outside at a time. The wind is the killer. I built up a nice snow berm thinking it would block the wind and drifting, but this storm is blowing the opposite direction as Friday/Saturdays storm.

I do have plenty of beer (two full 1/6 kegs as of Tuesday), but I am running low on pizza rolls.

I don't see us going back to work until next week. I'm a government contractor so this is eating into my vacation balance as well. I guess I shouldn't complain as I'll get paid either way.

A few more pics of my place early this morning before I go out and try to clear things. At 8:30 yesterday morning the road and driveway were down to bare pavement. Same for the path to my shed.
